Anniversary Homebrew Competition

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the North Urban Brewing Society we’re organizing a homebrew competition with Black Lung Brewing.

Drop at least two 12oz bottles/cans off at Perfect Brewing Supply by May 17.

Entries will be limited to one recipe per member of good standing. “Good standing” is defined as

1. Members current on their dues payments, and
2. Members who actively participate in the club’s interests.

Guidelines as follows…

• Nothing that requires barrel aging or excessive conditioning time. Lagers are fine. A Russian Imperial Stout that has to sit in a brite tank for 9 months in order to be palatable…not so much.
• Nothing brewed with fermentation critters that could infect the entire brewery. Steer clear of things like brett, pediococcus, lactobacillus, spontaneous fermentations, and the like.
• No ridiculously expensive ingredients. This isn’t to say “avoid adjuncts” or pricey hops or anything like that. It is to say “be judicious”.
