On June 27, a group of NUBS members swapped mash paddles for pedals and set out on this year’s Beers & Bikes ride — a rolling tour of local breweries by bike (and, for a couple of folks, by car, after mechanical issues took their bikes out of contention before the ride even started).
The day kicked off at Oak Trail Taphouse, after riding along the North Shore Trail from the Mickey Finn’s parking garage.
From there, the ride continued to Fenton Brewing for a preview stop — reports back were that it was a great visit, though the group was up against the clock and didn’t manage to grab any photos there.

Stop three was Tighthead Brewing Company, where the group paused for a photo before their triumphant final push back to Mickey Finn’s — a push that, despite the early mechanical setbacks, they completed.
Thanks to everyone who came out to ride, drink, and represent NUBS along the way. Keep an eye out for the next Beers & Bikes ride this fall.
