- This Saturday September 17 is the Brewgrass Festival at Black Lung; Josh still needs volunteers
- This Saturday is also Wortapalooza; Club Wort is looking for volunteer judges for this event
- Also this Saturday is the Grayslake Craft Beer Festival
- Next weekend on September 23-24 is Oktoberfest at Mickey Finn’s in Libertyville
- September 24 is also Hoptoberfest at Tighthead Brewing in Mundelein from 2 to 8 PM
- September 30-October 2 is Oktoberfest at Buffalo Creek Brewing
- Learn to Homebrew Day is on Saturday November 5, the current plan is do gather at Perfect as usual, but details are to follow
- The Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beer (FOBAB) is occurring November 4-5 and wants volunteers
- Saturday October 1 is Roaring Table’s Fifth Anniversary
General News:
- Perfect Brewing’s BJCP training now has 16 registrants
- The board would like to hear any ideas that members have for events, speakers, outings, etc. Please reach out to the board or to the even coordinators if you have any ideas to share.
- There will be an order of NUBS work shirts being placed soon, hopefully with both breast pockets open and usable
- The NUBS website shop now has NUBS hoodies available for purchase
